The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce has announced that the
annual Massena Community-Wide Garage Sales will take place on Saturday, June 27, and
Sunday, June 28.
The weekend event allows residents to host sales from their own homes and yards on schedules
that fit their convenience. Organizers are encouraging community members to utilize the event to
declutter, generate extra income, and practice environmental sustainability by recycling unused
household items. Multi-family cooperative sales are also highly encouraged to draw larger
crowds.
The community-wide weekend traditionally serves as a regional tourism driver, attracting
shoppers from across Northern New York and neighboring Canadian communities.
Registration is now open for residents who want their locations included on the official Massena
Community-Wide Garage Sale event page and directory. The deadline to register a sale is
Thursday, June 25.
